Hi – first ride out on new bike yesterday down the metro, 30 mins in got a puncture and had to walk it home. I managed to fix the puncture last night and it’s still pumped up this morning but looking at the tyre there seems to be a bit of a split, is this ok or worth replacing? Basically brand new only rode on them once. Thanks.

No, it’s dead
The casing is still ok, so it won’t blow up on you.
It will be more prone to puncture though as there’s no protective rubber layer on it anymore.
So if you can’t buy new tire right now, it’s fine to ride for some time.
But put it on rear.
