Just a heads-up for anyone waiting for their SLX 8 AXS: the current deliveries are coming with the 404 Firecrest wheels, not the newer (less expensive) 404s model. I received my bike two days ago, and it came equipped with the 404 Firecrests. I‘m happy with it! 🙂

That’s awesome. My custom Aeroad takes a bit longer to deliver (switched the cassette). I am already planning to sell the 404s and upgrade to Firecrest – hopefully this will save me the hassle.

Dann stell sich für mich die Frage, warum das Bike nun 500 Euro billiger ist als das Vorgängermodell?
An dem veränderten Sattel kann’s ja nicht liegen… alle anderen Komponenten sind soweit identisch.
