This is a lore video with a detailed analysis of everything you need to know about Logic, the entity that plays an important role in one of the endings of Fear & Hunger 2: Termina.
I recommend watching my previous video explaining the Festival of Termina (link below), since it will help you better understand how the festival influenced the birth of Logic.
You can skip straight to the final chapter, “Logic”, to hear my detailed analysis and explanation of this entity from my own perspective.
However, I encourage you to watch the entire video so you can gain a deeper understanding of the concepts and terms I present near the end of the video.
I’ll also be releasing a full, in-depth analysis of the Sulfur God soon, so stay tuned!!!

Earliest I've ever been
I want to spend a little more time explaining a few details that I didn’t have the chance to fully analyze in the video.
First, there’s the philosophical foundation of Hegel, the German philosopher, and the way his system seems to have influenced the birth of Logic in “Fear & Hunger 2: Termina”. If you look at the diagram at 02:44:24, you can see that Logic is placed on the foundation of something called:
Hegel’s “System of Science”
Now, I’m not going to go too deeply into Hegel’s entire philosophy here, partly because my own understanding of this philosopher is still quite limited. But just by looking at the diagram, and comparing it with what I analyzed in the video, we can still get a sense that the birth of Logic in “Fear & Hunger” has a surprisingly close connection to the structure shown here.
To put it simply, Logic isn’t just a god born from human science, as many people often assume. In my view, Logic is built from three major elements.
In this model, Hegel’s system is divided into three main parts:
1. Logic
The science of science.
2. Nature
The science of matter.
3. Spirit / Mind
The science of humanity, history, and human consciousness.
The basic meaning of this model, at least as I understand it, is that pure idea first unfolds into material nature. Then, from that nature, human consciousness begins to emerge. In shorter terms: idea becomes matter, and matter gives rise to spirit.
Of course, when we apply this to “Fear & Hunger”, the meaning isn’t exactly the same as Hegel’s philosophy. But I do think the developer took inspiration from this model, then reshaped it to fit the world and logic of the game.
In “Fear & Hunger”, we can imagine that the primordial ideas from the Green Hue first come into being, then slowly take physical form in the real world. They become things like the Traces of the Old Gods, nature, matter, bodies, and the many forces that shape existence. Then, from things that seem lifeless or purely material, consciousness and spirit begin to appear.
This may explain why the Traces of the Old Gods, even though they’re only remnants left behind by gods who have already departed, can still develop a kind of consciousness of their own. They’re no longer complete Old Gods. But they’re not just dead matter either.
They exist as divine leftovers, fragments of abandoned ideas, and yet they can still move, influence the world, and perhaps even carry a will of their own. However, we need to be careful here.
Spirit and mind are not the same as the human soul and body. In “Fear & Hunger”, humans are special because they have souls, something created and blessed by Sylvian. But the very thing that once made humans special later becomes the chain that binds them.
Because once humans have souls, they begin to form individual selves. And from those selves come different desires, instincts, ambitions, wills, and paths. That may be why humanity is so often associated with Chaos.
At its core, humanity doesn’t have one absolute standard by which the entire species can be measured, judged, controlled, or forced into a single order. Every soul is its own possibility. Every person is a different direction.
And because of that, humanity becomes a species that’s almost impossible to completely contain within any divine system. The Old Gods failed to control this. And perhaps because of that failure, the trap known as the New Gods was created.
The throne of ascension makes humans believe they can gain freedom, power, and transcendence beyond their mortal condition. But in reality, it only traps them inside another cycle. A cycle where humans take turns becoming gods, only to be replaced, forgotten, and eventually swallowed back into the same old system.
This is what makes Logic so different.
Logic is a god composed of all three elements: Logic, Nature, and Spirit / Mind.
From Logic, this god inherits science, knowledge, systematization, and the human ambition to surpass limitation. From Nature, Logic is born through the destruction of the natural world, and through the seizure of a domain once tied to the weakened god Vinuska. In other words, the birth of Logic isn’t only a scientific achievement. It’s also an invasion of nature.
And finally, from Spirit / Mind, Logic is stabilized through the twins, Reila and Olivia. These two sisters can be seen as opposing halves. But it’s precisely that opposition that creates balance, and balance is often important in the formation of gods within “Fear & Hunger”.
So Logic isn’t simply a machine god. It isn’t simply a god of science either. Logic is the result of a much more complex process: human knowledge, the decline of nature, collective consciousness, and the desire to escape the old chains of mankind, all converging into one new divine form.
In my view, Logic directly frees humanity by erasing, or at least moving beyond, the two concepts that have always defined human existence: soul and body. Instead of allowing humans to remain trapped inside individual souls and physical bodies, Logic extracts human consciousness, or spirit, from that old structure.
Then it transfers that consciousness into a new world through the power of the Cube of the Depths, or perhaps through a replica of it.
And this is where Logic becomes completely different from The Girl, the God of Fear and Hunger from the first game.
The Girl is basically a body with a soul, used to carry the seed of the God of the Depths. Because of her special condition, her mind and spirit were never fully formed. She didn’t have a strong independent will of her own. She was more like a blank page, written on by forces far greater than herself.
Because of that, the birth of the God of Fear and Hunger can be understood as another form of rebirth for the God of the Depths, only in a new body. That’s why her powers are still so closely connected to that old god. And that’s also why the sigil of the God of Fear and Hunger looks like a doubled version, or a direct variation, of the sigil belonging to the God of the Depths.
Logic, on the other hand, is different. Even though Logic takes over a domain connected to Vinuska, it doesn’t become another version of Vinuska. With the help of science, with the shared consciousness formed through Reila and Olivia, and with the collective human consciousness gathered through the telectroscope system, Logic becomes something entirely new.
This may also be why Logic’s sigil can be read as an inversion of the God of Fear and Hunger’s sigil. It doesn’t only suggest that a new age has begun. It also carries a deeper meaning: even though both gods are born through ascension, Logic doesn’t follow the same path as the God of Fear and Hunger.
The God of Fear and Hunger is the continuation of an old god through the body and soul of a child. Logic, by contrast, is an attempt to move beyond that very structure of body and soul. It transfers humanity into a new form of existence, where collective consciousness, science, nature, and spirit are merged into one system.
In short, The Girl is a divine rebirth from the past. But Logic is a divine architecture pointed toward the future.
One god is born from fear, hunger, the body, and the legacy of the Depths. The other is born from knowledge, the destruction of nature, collective consciousness, and humanity’s final desire: to escape the old definition of what it means to be human.
That’s all.
Nice I was patiently waiting for another amazing video. Thank you for the amazing work you put in all your videos. Even though I've watched your previous videos I will still re-watch them.
