Today my Fuji Feather started making this semi-regular clicking sound when freewheeling. I hope you can help me shed some light on the issue. It feels the same way as it sounds; grainy and coarse. There’s no issue when pedaling or when pedaling backwards.
A few days ago I adjusted the chain tension by moving the wheel slightly backwards. It was too tense so I loosened it a bit the day after. Also, the bottom bracket was replaced this spring – just for your information.

Your freewheel might just be toast. New ones are pretty cheap and easy to install. Worst case scenario, you have a new freewheel. Best case, you have a new freewheel.
That could be an acs freewheel. Treat yourself to a Shimano or better.
