Hey everyone, I’m planning to get the Engine 11 Riven frameset, but I'm completely stuck on choosing the right size to match my current fit. I don't have any local Engine 11 dealers near me to test-ride or see one in person, so I'm relying heavily on the geometry charts ensurint that I don't get the wrong size.

My Stats & Current Setup:

  1. Height: 170cm

  2. Current Bike: Kendo Orbit (Size S)

  3. Current Cockpit: 120mm stem length

  4. Riding Style: Mostly city riding/street bombing, with occasional track/velodrome sessions.

I absolutely love how my Kendo Orbit fits right now with the 120mm stem. It feels dialed, and I don't want to compromise that comfort or handling. I’ve attached both measurement charts for reference.

The Geometry Puzzle:

  1. My Kendo Orbit (Size S) has an effective top tube (ETT) of 530mm, a 75.5° seat tube angle, and a 110mm head tube.

  2. The Riven Size S drops the ETT to 520mm but has a steeper 76.0° seat tube angle (95mm head tube).

  3. The Riven Size M bumps the ETT to 540mm with a 75.5° seat tube angle (115mm head tube).

For anyone around 170cm riding the Riven (or anyone who is a geometry wizard), which size would you recommend to best replicate my current setup for street and track?

Appreciate any insight or advice you guys can drop! Cheers 🫶👊
