Interested in getting a dirtjumper since most people i talk to recomend it for helping position/jumping/pumping/trail riding in the long run but also not trying to absolutely break the bank while doing so. I was looking at this https://www.bikesdirect.com/products/wfb-special-sale/steel-dirtjumping-dj-bikes-online-sale-dj-50.htm and was wondering if anyone had any experience with bikes direct or had recomendations on others/used ones. I know its not the best quality from bikes direct but also im not the kind of guy to be hitting huge jumps/tricks.(yet hopefully lol)
Also the area I live in is abundant in skateparks, pumptracks, dirt jumps, and even a lift bike park. (I am less than 5-10mins away from each) I already have a trail bike and Enduro which I ride probably 3-4 days of the week minimum.

Why not just hit dirt jumps on the bike you already have? Then buy a real DJ when/if you want to start learning tricks.
I have nothing to offer but if you buy that bike I would love to hear what you think about it
Buy a 22″ BMX bike for the pump track, they’re much more fun and feel great.
Use your tail bike for dirt jumps, you’ll feel more comfortable.
I just sold my DJ due to preferring the 22″ BMX at the pump track
Don’t worry about front forks rigid is ok. You can upgrade to a suspension fork later but if you start with a junk bike it will always be a junk bike. So buy a decent frame bare minimum. If you find a gt labomba or canndale dave(same bike different stickers) used check the vin to make sure it isn’t the batch that was in the recall.
