I lived in Spain for 4 years a little village called Jalon, a vineyard town in between Benidorm and Valencia just inland from the coastal town of Calpe. Fantastic roads bobbing and weaving above valley's all the way to the top of hills and the small white painted villages that nest on top, and for the most part you have perfect weather.
Superb holiday and amazing scenery and memories for you both!
Adam, two things that I cannot recommend enough.
1, buy a copy of motorcycle roadcraft and read it, then give it to George to read.
Neither of you will regret it!
2, get booked on the IAM advanced rider course, it is well worth the time and money, and a superb way to smooth out your ride, meet some amazing people and do some group rides to some cool places.
