I have Pactimo Sun Sleeves and cannot state this enough… I love them. I wore them during a 95°f century last year and they were absolutely crucial to staying cool and not having to worry about sunscreen. I highly recommend them.
The moisture wicking of a sun sleeves feels amazing, and they are the one item I always request my friends that are just learning purchase after they get their main gear settled. I haven’t tried Castille, but if they are even remotely close to Pactimo in price, I will give them a shot as Pactimo is always sold out.

I got the cheapest 4 pack on Amazon and they seem to work well as far as I can tell. The biggest difference I found was wearing a UPF Balaclava.

I got a couple sets of Pearl Izumi arm and leg sleeves and it’s made a huge difference. Better heat and sweat regulation, and no need to reapply sun cream over the course of a long ride. Highly recommend.

I wear these all the time here in Florida in the summer. I have sleeves from Castelli, perl Izumi, and mumu, and they are all effective.

I recently started using the Assos ones, and they are great. Did a 100km 36 degree ride (97 in freedom units) recently and they were great. Use them for all sunny rides now, have a history of skin cancer in the family so these are good peace of mind.

The cheapest multipack on Amazon is just as good or better than anything I’ve worn from a major brand. If you want clout, buy the logo. If you want UV protection, get the highest reviewed cheap one on Amazon.

I have those exact castelli ones. I got them at about a 5-10% discount and they are good. They definitely block the sun as I had a small amount of skin exposed at the wrist which got sunburnt but arms were fine. Worn them about 10 times and they haven’t slipped. They aren’t entirely aero as they do crease slightly. You could possibly size down but normal sizing should probably work too. They keep a little bit of wind off on descents but aren’t really made for true wind protection.
My arms didn’t overheat in 25c.

I’ve been using these for years. Highly recommended. I constantly get complimented how vibrant my tattoos are. Arms are still white, while my hands are pretty tanned.
I’ve not tried sun sleeves but if I were going to try them I’d look into some aero ones like Rule28 makes. Will they make you faster? Who knows, but they won’t make you slower.

UV sunscreen sleeves are a must. White is not as protective as dark colors though. I would use sunscreen before putting the white ones on.
