You all inspired me to join the club! I picked up this bike from an older gentleman locally for $50. I needed a larger frame, which was tough to find in my area, so I got lucky when I came across this one with a 22" frame. It was my first time completely tearing down a bike, restoring parts, and putting it all back together. It was an awesome learning experience. Seeing the bike come back to life was super satisfying, and that first ride made all the hard work worth it. Lots of great advice on here and it helped tremendously through the process.

  1. I have the same bike sitting in my garage ready for me to build it. I didn’t need it. I 100% bought it for the paint job.

  2. I’m almost done rebuilding my Trek 830 Antelope! I wonder what the difference is between them, but it was a fun project!
