  1. Yes, it’s normal – they’re typically designed as no-compromise kit which means it only fits right when in a low, racy position on the bike. If your belly is still out when on the bike, then it’s too small 😜

    I believe this is normal when standing as it reduces the fabric when on the bike.

    At the start line of a pro race a few years ago I noticed the same thing in a few riders as they waited around (and found it funny tbh) but my friend who races set me straight.

    Absolutely normal for race fit kit. You don’t spend much time bolt upright on a bike. They’re designed to use the minimal amount of material and are cut to shape in the riding position

    You can get “club” style jerseys which are longer and more roomy all the way to skin suits for maximal aero gains.

    So many people in the comments with absolutely no idea how a kit should fit.. yes it is normal. Race kit is made to fit in a riding position, not standing upright.
