Just picked up this bike. Can’t decide what tape color would look best? Thinking either silver/grey to match the frame or play it safe with black. (Ignore the crazy stem extension. That’s coming off.)

I was going to say “whatever color sets the handlebars at an appropriate height.” Then I saw your comment asking us to ignore the crazy stem extension and I’m doubly unable to do so
No point in playing it safe: it will eventually need replacing anyway, use this as a chnace to explore.
