Took my city rig on a mixed pavement and dirt ride this morning. I’m reconsidering my gearing and thinking about switching back to an easier ratio and going up one tooth. I’m currently running 42×18 which is perfect on the flats but pretty challenging on some of these San Francisco hills. For anyone with a similar setup, what are you running?
