My 1996 trek mountain track 830 identifies as a ‘96 manual transmission Toyota Tacoma LX.
I was house sitting and I moved some stuff, but also this 5 ft ~45lb metal steel tube Hammock cot frame. It’s balanced evenly along the symmetry line of the bike, so once it’s balanced and tied to the handlebars, it doesn’t bother the steering balance. I tied it using a rope rig I designed and invented, myself.
2004 B.O.B. Yak trailer in tow.
I think I only traveled a few miles.

as funny as the statement is, old outdated jokes meant to poke fun at trans people are not funny. trans people are humans too, trans rights are human rights.
I always call my commuter a work truck
I wouldn’t trust a driver not to clip me with that width on my handlebars
Super not a fan of transphobic “joke”. Shit’s played out and insulting to real living, breathing human beings. Grow up and knock it off.
Mine is a modern crossover SUV. In that is’t a mountain bike that is not built for off-road and which I mostly use to commute to work by paved streets.
i just wanna say i appreciate the multiple people in here eloquently breaking down the transphobic origins of this dumb internet joke.
my bikes don’t identify as anything, because they are inanimate objects without a sense of identity. however, i do like to compare my bikes in a metaphorical sense to cars. my atlantis is like a 1986 diesel mercedes station wagon, and i love it.
