Still to get mudguards for it, but very happy with the Boardman 8.6 as my new daily commuter. Other than that, keen to hear other people's thoughts on the setup. Rack and lock came from my first ever bike, a Pinnacle that I absolutely ran into the ground and finally had to retire after taking a fair bit of gravel home with me from Richmond Park after a nasty crash. Hoping that the battered accessories make it look slightly less appealing to steal. To me, the bike looks more expensive than it actually is, which worries me a bit!
Went for something with hub gearing to reduce maintenance as I learned to cycle later in life and don't have all the knowledge I probably should have. I honestly haven't missed the extra gears so far, despite the climbs on my route.
