First try at drop bar conversion.
Heat wave in Europe… so I locked myself in the not-so-hot cellar and tingled on my bikes.
I bought a donor bike the other day with these nice clamp-on down tube shifters and thought now is the time to try to make drop bars work on my Crossroads.
Only had leftover bar tape. Not sure if the reach might be too long.
But the shake-down ride was fun!

Looks awesome!
Keep an eye on those shifters. Typically bikes designed for these have a small stop welded onto the frame. Without one, the clamp can slide down the tube under cable tension.
Tires and size???
I got about the shame bike. Works great as a gravel bike.
