Hello! I have moved to a very bike friendly town for grad school and started having car troubles. I am looking to start biking to campus (1-3 miles) daily. I know nothing about bikes and have started volunteering at the local bike coop to learn.
I’ve been browsing marketplace for something that might do the job. It’s hilly here, but mostly bike lanes. I found this Trek Multitrack 7000 on FB Marketplace for $60. The lady said she doesn’t know much about bikes so. I am about 5’ 4” F. What do we think?

I’d happily recommend this Trek in general, but I reckon this specific one is a bit too big a framesize for you. Ideally it would sit around the 45cm mark, especially with the high top tube.
