Manchester looked absolutely brilliant on this rideout ☀️🚴
Starting out alongside the canals heading towards Alan Turing Way, I made my way over to the Etihad Stadium to see how the latest construction work is coming along — and I’ve got to say, it’s looking seriously impressive now.
With the sunshine bringing the city to life, the canal basin and locks around central Manchester were packed with people enjoying the weather, giving the whole ride a great atmosphere.
I also headed through Tib Street in the Northern Quarter, which brought back a lot of memories from years ago — including the old tropical fish shop near Piccadilly and the Army & Navy store I used to visit as a kid.
After weaving through Manchester’s streets, canals and hidden routes, I stopped for some lunch near the Science Museum basin before cruising through Deansgate and heading home.
This ended up being a really enjoyable 15-mile urban eBike adventure with great weather, good vibes and plenty to see along the way.
I ride a Haibike SDURO Cross eBike fitted with an Insta360 camera and DJI Mic Mini setup to capture the ride as naturally as possible.
Thanks for riding along with Manchester Urban Rides 🚴
