People who buy bike parts because of how they look rather than how they perform?

My Brooks is in a storage box, safely away from my sit bones.

True xbikers know you have one seat post with a brooks b17 for photo shoots and another seat post with a specialized power/ fizik argo for actually riding your bike ✍️✍️

they certainly didn’t follow REI’s “*lead*”

Once I tried the “carved” saddles with the cutout, my opinion of the B17 greatly improved.

I actually really like my b17. Just came Home from a week of touring in normal pants. No issue. Friend on a roadbike in bibs was sore by the end

brooks put their priciest saddle on a budget hard rock and the jacket-camera-basket setup tells you what they’re actually selling here. it’s the lifestyle not the seat, and xbikers are exactly the crowd that wants to look the part more than ride comfortable. also “give it time” is basically admitting the saddle hurts until you’ve logged 500 miles on it.

Am I the only one here who likes my Brooks?
I get it, not everything works for everyone, but this is the only seat I’ve tried which I can comfortably ride for more than two hours at a time without padded shorts.
