  1. I took mine to REI. They are notoriously hard to get out if they aren’t completely loose. Then you have to remove the old adhesive before putting the new one in, I didn’t want to bother with all that and it was warranty work anyway.

    Canyon support told me to use Isopropyl Alcohol to break down the epoxy it’s bonded with. Then carefully tease it out with needle nose pliers.
