What do you *want* to add? Usually people customize the parts they are in contact with: grips, pedals, and saddle. I don’t know about the factory grips, but factory pedals are usually pretty poor for mtb use. If you are going to be doing any kind of more aggressive riding, think about pedals with metal pins, the factory ones are plastic. I personally use Deity Deftraps, but I have huge feet. I use PNW Loam grips. (On my mtb that is, my trek uses Trek Line pedals and the factory bar tape for grip).
As for the saddle, I actually like the Verse saddle that these come with, but I’d get measured and get the correct-width saddle for yourself.
