Had this read wheel built for my MTB recently. I’ve just noticed all the spokes on the disk side are laced on the outside of the hub flange? Is this a problem?
It is laced wrong. I have no idea if it will affect anythingm there is a big bend in the spoke so it will probably break faster

Did you ask whoever built the wheel why they did it this way?
It’s not right.

It looks asymmetric like a machine built wheel (but they are usually the other way around). Having the pulling spoke on the inside means that if the chain falls behind the cassette (due to maladjusted limit screw, bent derailleur, loose cassette locknut, or whatever) the spokes will suck the chain down between the cassette and spokes, causing more damage, instead of trying to push it out. Apart from that, it probably does not matter.
