It was once said that “no one can whistle a symphony. It takes a whole orchestra to play it”.
Restoring Château de Purnon is the culmination of tens of thousands of tasks … large and small. Work by us and by our highly skilled artisans.
Each projected completed in a precise order under the supervision of our extraordinary heritage architect.
A reminder that an orchestra’s strength lies not in its loudest instrument but in the harmony of them all.
This week, as the deadline looms for our next architect’s site visit, come with us as we progress projects.
Don’t forget to like, comment and subscribe to follow our château restoration journey!

Are y’all require to hit certain milestone deadlines as part of an agreement with with the money lenders or the government and if so what happens if y’all don’t?
That roof is something else!
It’s more majestic and beautiful every day!! WOW!!!
1:51 I love this music but really ? Using it here in this montage? This sequence doesn't do this music justice. You guys can't use diff music for diff types of scenes?! That beautiful music shud be reserved for beautiful reveals not construction work scene montages.
6:52 whoa…I did not see this coming!? They are rebuilding the gutters by hand all the way around the Chàteau?!
Regarding the path around the dry moat, why did they originally lay the stones vertically rather than having bigger stones laid horizontally? Felicity, I loved your analogy with the orchestra! So apt! Tim, keep taking notes for your second book please. The narrative and content of your first book was brilliant.
Toute l'explication du technicien sur le fonctionnement du para-tonnerre est passé en mode muet avec les seuls sous-titres en anglais. Est-ce dû au choix de la langue française ?
Again team , just fabulous!
❤
Congrats on making it this far. One suggestion would be to have workers protect themselves better..use protective gloves and face shields.
Unbelievable with that water system??? This chateau just has been SOOOOO INTERESTING!!! Have u written a second book with ALLLLL that in it!!! I’d buy IT TOOOO! Loved your first book!!! Even the firewood cutting and trees would be fun to read about too!!!! So much work or TASKS TO DO???
The explanation of the lightening rod was excellent. The French speak so clearly too.
in addition to the functionality, the rustic stone gutters are a beautiful transition from the chateau to the dry moat. fantastic!
❤❤❤❤❤
Loving seeing you guys sit in that location of the steps because I’m waiting for the Lions. Anticipation 🌻🥂
Fabulous as always
Your socks match this week.😊
No robot nor AI will ever replace this stonemason kneeling on the ground, selecting stones one after another, adjusting level, gently hamering it and redoing this again and again with dedication and patience. This is what we can call a good work. And we can witness Tim doesn't need a subscription to the Gym club 😉
Já pensaram em plantar novas árvores?
❤
OMG!!!! masterpiece ❤❤❤
