I have a primo churchill cranks, what happens is that even when the screws are tightened they still feel a little loose in them. Has that happened to anyone before? Since I remember they feel like this. What should I do?
That’s an issue with 48 spline if they’ve been installed and removed a few times they start to loosen and hell even just from riding hard on them for a while I’ve had a set of Odyssey Calibers start to get a little loose

Try adding a few spacers? Try to make sure your arms are even on both sides and your sprocket stayed aligned with your driver

Also if splined cranks I had a old set of profile cranks (20 plus years old) get loose so I fixed them by taking the cranks out completely then moving the spindle around so the crank arms would be in a different position on the splines of the spindle and that worked for me, I think after a while they wear down setting on the same splines then become loose

Not enough axles spacers to allow the bolts to actually tighten the arms down. Otherwise the bolts bottom out

Loose where? Arm? Spindle? Side to side? Add some details so people don’t have to guess.

So my solution would be to take them out completely, reposition yours spines with your arms, add a extra spacer if needed, make sure arms are even on both sides with your chain stay then tighten down, makings sure it’s tight… then blue locktite your bolts and tighten down again and let it set overnight, that will insure your bolts don’t come loose and you should be good

If your on a budget and can’t get new cranks or want to try and save these then sounds crazy but try wrapping the spindle splines with some thread tape and taping your arms back on with a rubber mallet

You’re using an industrial washer instead of a bb cone?
