I joined my mate Rob for a 30-mile gravel and canal loop from Bolton to Haigh Hall in Wigan, following the Leeds-Liverpool Canal to Chorley and back through Rivington. Rob was on his E-Bike, and we weren’t sure if his battery would last the whole distance – especially with the steep climbs around Rivington!
We encountered some beautiful scenery, but things took a turn when I had a messy tubeless tire failure mid-ride.

Wow, great video, I really enjoyed watching that, took me back sixty years when we spent endless summer days riding the Leeds Liverpool canal from the Leeds end and in and out of various woodlands and parks.
