How tight should these be when re assembling these brakes. Is it tight enough that they don’t bind but not tight enough where they have play in them? Can’t seem to find much advice on Google.

8Nm for the pivot nut the long one in centre and tight but so it still moved for the other one, think I also did to 8Nm, the one on the left.
Ye old one (silver) are rly bad over time due rust inside. Need to clean lube little and get it together it’s a pain in the ass.
Need to try many times as long they don’t play on screw but spring can open them freely. Clean spring end where its going inside bronze sleeve too its really important
