  1. AI is dogshit my buddy. You wouldn’t be catching me anyway I wouldn’t call you back

  2. Because no one got time to do 48 miters and brazed joints just to carry home a case of beer

    It looks cool but:

    1. It’s going to be a lot more expensive to produce

    2. It’s more difficult to attach luggage/baskets/etc. to

    3. Brake bridge mounting points are inherently weaker and less stable

    4. can’t even see a rack when it’s carrying shit anyways so why?

This is about the level of logic I expect from a fixie-with-no-brake rider tbf

You’d be tearing your own pants / shorts on a daily basis.

Had a fender strut once that was a little long and without that little plastic cap, and that little thing ripped a hole three times.

    Hauls better than back pack

    Case of beer, any size
    Burger and a large fries

Look out, here comes the spider rack

that spider web rack is gorgeous and i get the appeal, but the answer is basically labor costs and liability. hand-brazed steel art takes serious skill and time, which means it costs real money. mass-produced aluminum and plastic racks are ten bucks and ship from a warehouse. most people just want their groceries home, not a bike that doubles as a conversation piece at the shop. plus the second you crash or hit a pothole wrong, all that delicate metalwork becomes expensive yard art instead of functional gear. that said if you’ve got the time and money for custom work, there’s no reason not to do it. the craftsmanship here is legitimately cool.
