Hey guys, I’ve been looking to upgrade from my entry-level hardtail after getting really into riding over the last couple of years.
After a ton of research, I keep coming back to the Top Fuel for the type of riding I do.
I found this 2024 Top Fuel 8 XT and have been talking with the seller, who’s selling it for her husband. They don’t have much information beyond the basics: model/size, all stock, and no known damage.
They’re asking $2,500 which is perfect for my budget currently, but it would be an 8-hour round trip for me to pick it up. Before I make the drive, does this seem like a good deal / are there any red flags I should look for?

The price is pretty fair, the drive to get it is kinda crazy but if you don’t live near a bigger city it makes sense.
That’s a pretty good price. It’s $4200 brand new before any sales or discounts.
Make sure it’s the correct size and make sure everything works.
Since it’s 8 hours in the car see if the seller will send a video of the brakes working and a working drivetrain.
