Just finished this Sklar PBJ build in Moss Grey.
I took a pretty bad crash in The Tour De Los Padre recently that had me off the bike for a bit, and nothing makes you want to build a bike more than not being able to ride one.
Most of my bikes are either light, speedy bikes or 26" clunkers, so I wanted something that combined the two—capable enough for the rough terrain around here, but still something I could ride every day without worrying about batteries or counting grams.
It's definitely the flashiest bike I've ever built, but I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. It rides like an absolute dream. Had to snap these photos because it’s not going to stay this clean and shiny.
Huge thanks to White Industries, Astral Wheels, and Paul Components for all the help with parts.

  1. I zoomed in on that big ass rear sprocket cluster like it was a money shot in a porno.

  2. Beautiful build. That headset + spacers is just *chef’s kiss*. I went broke just looking at these pictures.
