Ronnie Romance – Quest for Quaint | On Bikes Across the UK

Ronnie, Ron, UltraRomance… whatever you call him, he is hard to miss. Vintage bicycles, a bushy beard, short shorts, and thick wool sweaters. His romantic and self-governed way of life feels reminiscent of another era.

Together with Ronnie Romance, we set out across the UK in search of quaint places, timeless roads, and a flow state where worries fade, time disappears, and you feel like a kid again.

Our route took us through the Brecon Beacons, Merthyr Tydfil, Burford and Bibury in the Cotswolds, stopping by Woods Cyclery in the New Forest before ending along the cliffs of the Jurassic Coast.
