This is my 1978 Raleigh Competition, detuned to be a comfortable townie cruiser. I have a Raleigh Professional, and don't need 2 racing bikes. This bike is outfitted with 38 x 650b wheels on Dura Ace hubs. It has a DA crank with a triplizer, DA front and rear derailleurs, the back is a long cage with an XTR cage swap. It retains the quick acceleration and maneuverability of it's racing geometry and butted Reynolds 531 frame, but deals with the harsh road conditions here in Saint Paul, Minnesota. It's a lot of fun to ride.
