I was opening my AliExpress app, and the magic of internet cookies brought me this disk facing tool on the main page
It seems to be a mix of the Var tool and the Park DT-5.2, but with a single facing cutting disc which is spring loaded.
For nearly 1/8 of the price, do you think it can worth it for someone who has to face a frame and a fork every 2/3 years?

I guess if you want your brake mounts lower without worrying about them actually being aligned…
Could it work? Possibly. Is that tool a cheap way to remove material from your brake mounts? Absolutely. Would I expect it to precise enough to ever put it on a bike I was working on? Absolutely not.
