Yesterday I picked up this 1990 Schwinn Le Tour 18 Speed Men’s bicycle. Many parts have been replaced, really only the frame, front fork and tires are original I believe.
I have a few things I would like some recommendations on some that I would like to do to it. Firstly I need to put some fresh tires, thinking of going to all black. Then I want to switch out the pedals to a chrome, thinking of keeping a toe cage but a different one. Also I want to put a thin silver rear rack on the back of this bike.
Down the line I think maybe doing a brooks saddle with matching brown leather grip tape might look really sweet on this bike.
