Almost lost my garmin Varia on a ride today and lost a speed sensor last month. What do you replace these bands with? If its the same bands, where do you buy replacements?
Just take a rough measurement (might even be posted on Garmin’s site) and get new ones from the hardware store or off Amazon.

It’s almost certainly a standard o-ring. Measure the width. Measure the length as if it were a piece of string and divide by 3.14 to get the diameter. Then match it up with something from here:
They are standard o-rings. Garmin specifically states that replacements must be EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer).
I really dislike the stock mount that comes with the RTL515

For the Varia, I suggest buying a third party mount that is more solid. Those rings are the cheapest thing they could ship it with to make it fit all bikes. Just search “Varia Mount” on Amazon.

A new o-ring from a local hardware store. Mostly they’re sold in packs.
