I broke a spoke (Sapim CX ray) in a road race crash on brand new wheels yesterday. The nipple is aluminium and self locking type.
Is it normal practice to reuse it? It would spare me the time to remove it and slip in a new one. I have no access holes rim. The nipple has seen 2 weeks of use.
Follow up question. Is there anything special to know about self locking nipples? I presume you tighten them the same way as normal ones.
Thank you!

Yeah you can keep it but It’s not that big of a pain to take a tire off and slip the rim tape to the side to get a new one in. You might not even need to take off the tire, just push it to the side.
If it were my bike and it was actually aluminum (instead of much more common brass) I would swap it just because aluminum is weird with high forces on it. Brass, I’d let it ride.
Yea, unfortunately you should really replace the nip. Without access holes it’s a right pain! You’ll need to get creative with either wire or thread and a Hoover, depending on where the nip is relative to the valve hole.
