Went on a coastal ride recently and honestly forgot how good it feels to just slow down and enjoy the view. There were so many moments where the ocean, cliffs, and light all lined up perfectly that I kept stopping for a few seconds just to take it in. Also, I happened to have my XTRA Atto in my pocket, so I grabbed a few clips along the way. Looking back, most of my favorite footage came from places I hadn't even planned to stop at and here is one of them.

Curious when you guys go on a ride, how do you capture views or do you just use your phones? Any tips on better ways to mount your camera to get a more unique shot?

  1. Pretty!

One of my regular rides takes me from Davenport to Santa Cruz on the California coast. It’s spectacular! There’s usually a tailwind in that direction, too! I have to climb a steep mountain to get there, though.
