Didn’t get chosen for the Unbound 200 lottery this year, so did the 200km Horribly Hilly route this past weekend. Rode a crux and loved it, only a few other gravel bikes on the course that I saw all day. Really well organized event — not a lot of info online from past years, so didn’t totally know what to expect.

It’s always an awesome event, and this year was no exception. Not surprised there weren’t too many gravel bikes, since there is usually very little (or no) gravel on the route 😄 You never know with many of those back roads that they might chipseal and then have some gravel over the top, but definitely not what I would classify as any real gravel.
