I have my Thory test next week preparation has gone well I’m looking forward to go and pass first time 😊

How i did it:

(in steps)

1. Get one of the apps, I used the 4in1 but honestly anything with dvla questions should work fine

2. Do a few clips to practice hazard perception to get your grips with it whilst using tochi's method for clicks (it worked well for me on practice and actual test)

3. Grind mock hazard tests untill you feel comfortable

4. Do a mock test without any revision first to get an idea of where you are at and what the test will be like. This will help you understand better how to apply knowledge you gain when reading through content and will make you feel more comfortable with the test, knowing what is in it

5. Read through all road signs and learn the ways to figure out their meanings (shapes colours etc). Dont worry about memorizing every sign right now, just getting an idea of what they are will help alot when first starting out although there are some wierd ones like the mtorway lane ahead closed signs which you will need to memorize

6. At this point i would do 2/3 mock tests to find where you are weak. This in my opinion is where the 4in1 shines because it lets you practise questions based on their category and then choose the different question type. if you have the 4in1 and you are doing tests to find where you're weak I would highly reccomend setting the question type to questions not seen yet and doing those.

7. After that, reading through your incorrect answers and retrying them by selecting the "previously answered incorrectly option" if you have the 4in1 or if you dont writing them down of paper should also be effective

8. Repeat this process untill you are consistently passing

general advice:

-YouTube videos with visual explanations will be really good for stuff like crossroads and road signs

-Leave plenty of time to revise before your exam

-If you're revising lest second then you're just gonna have to sweat it for a while and i would reccomend prioritising theory over hazard perception as you will have a greater chance at hazard perception but maybe just do like a clip or two

-Get a good night of sleep before your exam, I know if you havent revised its tempting to stay up untill like 2 in the morning doing mock tests but if you do that and lose out on sleep then you might suffer in your hazard perception because of your lack of sleep and slower reaction speeds

-Use YouTube videos to find common hard questions, there are 2 titled something like "top 25 hardest theory questions" I found them really helpful

-If you keep getting a question wrong or multiple questions wrong it could be because you are trying to revise too much information in one go before applying it or if you are just struggling to remember it, try writing it down or explaining it to yourself in the mirror or to a friend or your pet rock

-When baking a cake do not forget the wheat

-Dreams are the subconscious mind's way of reminding people to go to school naked and have their teeth fall out

-To make a photocopier, simply photocopy a mirror

Read the book 3 times and you won't fail.

Why does everyone care about what accent he’s speaking in?? It’s still English it doesn’t matter how it’s pronounced, you all are too soft

Is 10 seconds normal on every question in the real test

The American AI voice is throwing me off.. I'm paranoid I'm learning the USA road stuff, not the UK things I need ><

Got 5 wrong but ive not got my provisional driving licence back yet so stil plenty of time to revise, thanks for the helpful information 👍
