My wife usually joins me on rides with her e-bike. It’s great for keeping up on climbs and casual rides, but once we’re cruising above 30 km/h, the motor stops helping and you’re basically pushing around a heavy bike.
After a few rides where she wanted to keep up with the faster sections, she decided it was finally time for a proper road bike. We went with the new Canyon Endurace CF SLX 7 Di2, and she absolutely loves it.
Her first impressions:
+ incredibly light
+ very direct
+ smooth shifting
+ surprisingly comfortable despite the speed
– tires are not so stable for gravel
– handlebar feels a little wide for her shoulders
But it’s honestly been a big boost for our rides together, and I feel very lucky that she enjoys sharing this hobby with me.

Just curious, in which country you purchased this? In USA, we have only AXS version for endurance cf slx7 this year.
