  1. Try to make your finger a bit wet and go over it. If it almost dissapears it might be worth to get a bit of Proofide on the saddle and let it dry for a while and buff it out.

    A dab of wax and a 15 minutes of butter polishing and it’ll be as good as new. Edit: dammed you autocorrupt- I wrote butt polishing not butter…

    Leather unfortunately is prone to scratches get some proofhide from Brooks and with a little elbow grease it should become less noticeable.
