After my Aliexpress Chinese frames forks looked like they were about to snap into two I thought I would see it I could get my employer to sign up to the cycle to work scheme in the UK, they did so I ended up buying this,
Boardman ADV 9.2 and it will cost me under 1k for a full bike with wireless sram, I have fitted my elite carbon wheels off the old bike, and it rides amazing the wireless shifting is brilliant and the brakes, should have gone hydraulic years ago lol.

Can you share a picture of the frame that failed and tell us how it failed ?
You post scared me before I read the description, I just bought a chinese aluminium frame that looks a lot like your Boardman !
