Brand new primos dame (10 speed), slipping gears on the lowest two gears the whole time it’s in either gear. What’s the most likely cause? Guessing I should let primos know just in case it’s a warranty issue either way.
The derailleur cable may have too much tension, have you tried to adjust it slightly with the barrel adjuster? Just a quarter of a revolution may make the trick, check tutorials online.
Otherwise the derailleur hanger may be slightly bent, if the bend is minimal you may be able to manually, and carefully, bend it back to its correct shape (I would just replace the hanger, they are cheap)
Last option, maybe the rear wheel or the cassette are a bit loose? Are both tightly fit?
If all of that has been checked, then it may be a problem inside the derailleur, the spring for example, but that would be rare.

95% issues like this are just cable tension.
