I’m curious too. Done this with footplant but what’s to look out for when trying first few times ?

I’m no professional but I would insist on practicing going up a ramp and getting used to the feeling of letting the bike roll backwards while maintaining your balance. And I would also suggest you get fairly well doing a 180. After that its just a bit of practice and keeping your feet glued to the pedals. Professionals, does this sound okay? If not, what are some better pieces of advice?

Probably learn to do a traditional wallride first. That is like the wallride end boss

When we did them we found a slightly leaning tree and just kinda committed. You’ll fall on your back but more than likely get the mechanics soon after. Or even rolling up to a quarter at the side and jumping as high up it you can to it’s vert to get the feeling of being immediately vertical down?

Not hard, but you have to commit and be at least 6 inches off the ground

Not the hardest. It’s very spot dependent trick. A steeper bank (steeper than in the vid) makes it easier to pop off of. I learned it on a tree on a bank, which worked pretty well. And you should definitely learn wallrides first if you haven’t, to get used to timing jumping onto the wall. That can take a while.

Practice fakies on a quarter

This actually pretty difficult if you do it straight.
