Bought my first road bike in february with Vätternrundan in mind. Not long after I did my knee during my first 70km ride and since then it has been a race against the clock to come back. It's been mostly shorter rides to gain some strength back. Finally last week felt back to normal so I decided to go ahead with the race and I'm glad I did.

The ride started at 23:00 last night and ended at 12:54. Thanks to Sweden's geographic location it never really gets dark during the night but with some rain during the wee hours it got really cold. We pushed thorugh together with 17 000 other riders and after what felt like an enternity we finnished with a good mood, completely tarnished legs and a time to beat next year.

    Radonneuring is fun!

I did it once, not really a thing in the US, but a gal on the now defunct women’s cycling email list was always reporting her rides, so I tried to copy it. No fun alone w/o some support.

TIL there are parts of the world where you can cycle 315 km with 0 m elevation gain lol

I did Vätternrundan a couple of years ago. It’s a fun ride, and very challenging, I was incredibly proud to have finished it, and still is! Congrats mate!
