Today was the third ride day of the local MTB Strava Race. In this Strava Race there are two more technical segments. In the first one of those there was some downhill, but mostly it was even and almost zero uphill.
Usually I ride on my XC bike, but today I wanted to find out would my over 2 kg heavier trail bike be faster in this kind of trail.
The time with my XC bike (Canyon Lux CF 7) was 2:30 and with this trail bike (Focus Jam 8.9) the time was 2:09. Also it was the fastest time in M40 series this far.
As you see in video the whole travel of the suspension is in use, even I have tuned it more stiff than soft.
I also had a new riding jersey, which worked really nice.
