At the moment I have found my self some money, and as always it’s going straight into the bike, tho I’m not too sure what to upgrade, and while I said unlimited budget, I’m not trying to break the bank, if you have a good upgrade even if it’s expensive still say, but just say some other stuff aswell

Brakes if you feel like you need better ones, looks like you are on hs2 rotors which is good

    Brakes. XTs or Dominions.

I’m not seeing pedals. Probably pedals. PNW Ranges have been my go to lately. Shoes if you don’t already have them.

Not seeing a dropper post on the list. PNW has the shortest stack posts, which is a big deal for me on small frames.

    Saddle.

Anything left over, training. Training is the best return on investment you can get.

    I’d get a new bike.

    But if you insist;

    Carbon rims

    Carbon bars

New brakes (if you want to stay with SRAM, get the Mavens. Because why not)?

    Coil shock

Onyx rear hub (if you want instant engagement with absolute silence. Not for everyone)

Do you have a dropper? If not, get one of those.

Change drive train and brakes to shimano or anything other than sram. Sram is 🤮. Also carbon wheels are the bee’s knees. But id upgrade to a 29er at this point

  5. Sounds like you just want a bike, not the experience of riding dirt. Run wut you brung.

  6. You are running tubes. That’s the first thing to change. Go tubeless it will improve the bike and will cost you almost nothing. Yes, it is worth it. Go tubeless

Wheels, if you really have the coin get better wheels. A set of NOBL rims on Hope hubs would be nice. Or WAO rims. Yes, carbon rims are durable. And 27.5 wheels can be found on the cheap now

Unless the suspension is failing I would leave it alone, you already have decent shock and fork.

Brakes, yeah you can improve there. I find Maguras to be great, but they are not for everyone. Hopes are pretty solid, if you like the lever feel. Shimanos are probably the easiest brake to live with. But SRAM mavens are supposed to be great too. Hayes are nice, and to me they feel retro

Drivetrain, meh, if you want to spend money. Or is worn out. Throw a better shifter maybe? Those are like $100 and will improve the whole system

Finally, get a BikeYoke dropper (or a Manitou Jack, which is the BikeYoke but is often on sale). Is the operation that different from a OneUp? No. But is it awesome? Yes. And it will make your bike feel premium.

And get some decent shoes for crying out loud!

    TL/DR: go tubeless, get shoes

    Nice wheelset.

With full 27.5 fading away, find someone dumping a really nice carbon wheelset with DT 240s or similar.

I’ve seen some stupid nice stuff get sold for like $500.

My wife’s bike currently has wheels that are nicer than the bike itself because I kept them when I sold my 27.5 bike and there’s no market for them.

  8. I’ve got a pretty standardized setup that I put on all my bikes:

    – Rockshox ultimate fork – for this I’d put on a Zeb

    – TRP brakes…I’ve used DHRs for a while, but I’ve been wanting to try the EVO Pros

    – Full XT drivetrain with XTR shifter (w/ unlimited budget I might upgrade to full XTR)

    – One Up dropper post

    – Wolf Tooth dropper lever (I think I use a ReMote Light Action)

    – Ergon SM Enduro Comp Saddle

    – Ergon GE1 Evo Slim grips

    – Renthal handle bars and stem

    – Cane Creek 40 headset

    – HT Components T2 pedals

    – Tires I pretty much stick to Magic Mary’s for enduro

    – Wheels and hubs I’m a little more open with. I tend to like DT Swiss and I9 stuff. I’ve also been wanting to try byrd spokes too.

Edit: For the shock this kind of depends on the bike cause sometimes their designed for a specific shock with a specific tune, but for this case I’d upgrade to a Super Deluxe Ultimate

Unlimited budget but not unlimited and sticking with a. Old bike ? Probably better to ask specific questions vs a dumb general one that doesn’t fit .

Id walk into the bike shop and get a new pivot with the highest spec if I had a unlimited budget .

  10. If it ain’t broke… Ride her till it is, upgrade only whats worn or busted. Why piss money away? Are you racing?

New brakes, because those guides are pretty weak for an enduro bike.  Dominions, mavens, or even codes would be an upgrade
