You can cycle from Tulse Hill in south London to Clapham entirely on quiet streets and protected cycle lanes.

The route is 4.8km long (3 miles) and makes use the Ferndale, Brixton Hill, Tulse Hill and Streatham Hill LTNs.

  1. Great video, a shame that a quick and cheap way to get around our cities is being demonised by the current government. I live in a LTN in the north east and it’s made my commute to work so much easier.

  2. Good route! Haven't been down that way since the Brixton LTN was introduced, so will give it a go this evening. Agree about crossings: think they should also look at one at the end of your route, across Clapham High Street to connect with C5, the Oval / Stockwell LTN and all points to Battersea.

The firegate on Palace Road looked as though it was taken out by a car at some point earlier this year, and was replaced by a temporary barrier — like the planters (and the extra space).
