A brilliant bicycle adventure from my house in Hertfordshire UK to Poznań, Poland. The 5th largest city in Poland and one of the oldest. The tour was three and a bit weeks long and over 1000 miles.
The route followed National Cycle Network routes in England. I caught the ferry from Harwich port to the Netherlands. I cycled along the LF4 Dutch cycle route to Germany, passing through the Dutch cities of The Hauge (Den Haag) & Utrecht. In Germany I cycled through Münster, Bremen, Hamburg & Berlin – following the Eurovelo 2 , 3 and 13 routes in Germany. I had not planned for Poland and wasn’t pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the nation was.

Amazing trip. Balls of steal to pull something like that. Congrats
Well done mate
Hey there :)! I would love to cycle along the EuroVelo routes, too, but also leave the official tracks when possible, and I am currently looking into how to get to my destination (Abruzzo on Italy's Adriatic coast). I found a really good page for planning already, and if you don't mind me asking: How did you roughly calculate how fast you'd get from one point to the next? Did you plan the stays along the route (unless you were camping) in advance? I am really bad at estimating everything in advance, also in terms of how much I should save up prior to leaving for the route. Either way, thank you so much for sharing your adventure with us. subscribed 🙂
