I’ve had this 1989(?) Campione d’Italia for about a month now and have been slowly bringing it back to life. It recently got a tune-up and some general maintenance, and now I’m trying to track down a replacement decal for the top tube.

The decal says “CAMPIONE D’ITALIA” in script with a line running through the lettering. In the photo, an old race-number sticker is covering part of it. I’d like to remove the sticker, but I’m pretty sure whatever remains of the original decal will come off with it.

I’ve searched BicycleDecals.net and a few other vintage Bianchi sources but haven’t been able to find this exact decal. Most reproduction sets seem to use different top-tube graphics.

Does anyone know:
– What year this frame might actually be?

– Where I could find a reproduction of this specific top-tube decal?

– Whether this decal was unique to a certain model year of the Campione d’Italia?

Any photos, catalog scans, or leads would be greatly appreciated.
