For those who also want to make money flipping bikes.
He spend all morning searching for a suitable bike. That is already 3+ hours.
He made 2 car trips, Average cost per mile is 30 – 60ct* depending on vehicle/current gas price/insurance etc. But it also takes time. And remember, if it is 25miles to the pickup, you need to drive back and forth, so 50 miles or $15 – $30, It gets especially bad if the sale falls through, because the trip still costs money.
So, yeah it is possible to make money flipping bikes, but you need to do the math right.
