Whilst being a little bit thrown together with what I had and what I could afford (shoutout to the local charity bike store, loads of pieces were from there), and a conversion, this bike represents something great for me.
5 years have gone by my eyes without me even really being there and without a single mile done on two wheels. Hardly a mile done on my two feet either if it wasn't to the shop. This project has put me back in the saddle with something to celebrate. The absolute joy and peace of fixed gear cycling has been so refreshing!
It's not the prettiest build, nor the cleanest – but it's mine and I love it. (I'm aware this is a bit 'I'm 14 and this is deep', sorry).
